I primarily ordered this to extend the display of a Macbook Pro to an old Viewsonic Monitor. However, I ended up using it for a Windows Laptop for the same purpose.Initially disappointed, I am satisfied because I found alternative use for it and did not need to return it. [If you are interested, some digging up online yielded that MacBook Pro requires an active adaptor and cannot be used on MacBooks.] No surprise there given everything else with Apple. And if you know how to how to make this work as is, please let me know.Proactive Service:I liked the service provided by PIBox. Firstly, considering the HDMI to VGA product selection (which made me think, that this requirement may not be as common), I received an email from customer service asking to confirm if I was indeed looking for an HDMI out and and VGA in connection. I think they were being smart here considering reverse logistics of a return might cause delay and incur them unnecessary cost, an avoidable situation.Prompt shipment and intact box:The box contained everything as stated. The delivery by Amazon was timely.Build and use:I found the build quality good. Typically, the weak point in some adapter cables i have bought in India is the point where the cable comes out from the casing. This one seemed to be well supported and sealed. Time and use will tell, but first impressions tell me it might survive daily use.I just plugged it in and it started working, as expected.

I bought this for my Tata sky HD Set top box. HD channels run full screen. Some sd chanels too can be viewd full screen. But sd chanels dont seems to be as much good as hd channels.. Pin Doing its job perfectly..Connected to my lg monitor and spekers… More than month and no problem at all.Before purchasing this product I have searched all over the internet and all shoping websites… Read and watched hundreds of reviews and videos, u will not get better product than this.Also Indian compny.

I purchased this adapter just today. The HDMI output quality is sharp and clear. Build quality looks good.The fact that it comes with a certified HDMI to VGA AG62000 chipset makes me feel a bit more secure in purchasing this product. Good to see extended warranty of 15 months (upon online registration of product) on quality products. I ordered the PiBox HDMI to VGA adapter, and am delighted to receive the HDMI to VGA with Audio cable!The product works great between my new Win10 machine and the monitor I am using. No distortion of picture. The thoughtful inclusion of a plastic cover for the exposed HDMI connector means that it does not gather dust, and allows me to leave it connected to the VGA, and plug it into my machine’s HDMI port whenever I want.Plus the added feature of extended warranty if you register online makes it a 5 star product.One note: I initially had some trouble as my monitor told me “Input not supported.” Digging around, I realized this is due to resolution of second screen. Go to your screen resolution settings and set the recommended resolution for both screens, and voila, you have 2 screens. It would be good to include a note to this effect in the product packaging.I didn’t know I was ordering from an Indian startup, only when I received the product did I realize it. It’s great to see such products and I will be looking forward to more products from PiBox.
